While in Georgia the guys of The Grand Tour gave an short interview
The Grand Tour was filming in Georgia in October 2018 for an episode of season 3. When they visited a winery they gave a very short interview. We can only hear Jeremy Clarkson, because he’s the one with the microphone.
In this interview he praises Georgia for the great.wine and for being such a lovely country according to Clarkson Georgia is Europe’s Hidden Gem. And he will be back for sure.
Clarkson, Hammond and May were in Georgia for their journey from the freshwater Black Sea to the saltwater Caspian Sea. The episode is called “Sea to Unsalty Sea” and is the 11th episode in season 3. This episode was available on Amazon Prime on 22 March 2019.
The presenters of The Grand Tour drove for this episode from Batumi on the coast of Georgia to Gori, where they visited the house of former Russian leader Josef Stalin. After that the went to Tbilisi the capitol of Georgia. From there they crossed the border with Azerbaijan to end in Baku. Where they drove on the famous street circuit of the Formula One.
During this episode they compared three Grand Tourers. Jeremy Clarkson was in an Aston Martin DB Superleggera. James May could be found in a BMW 8 Series and Richard Hammond was behind the wheel of a Bentley Continental GT.
